Each student painted 1/4 of a flower in class with step by step instruction. I did not plan on piecing the flowers together to hang when I came up with project but it worked out awesome! I did get a little sad when an older student walked by and asked if they were Turkeys! This was also the first time second grade moved on from watercolor paints to tempera!

Pollination
2nd Grade students were learning about bees and pollination in their classroom. In art class, we constructed our bees out of construction paper, glued them on to our background and then added a flowery landscape!

The projects turned out awesome and I loved the boarder the students glued on to the back of their pieces.
